SAINTS have been crowned Champions and in a special 16-page souvenir supplement this week the Star celebrates their magnificent achievement.

Through the brilliant writing of Mike Critchley and the superb pictures of photographer Bernard Platt – who were both given behind-the-scenes access to the ecstatic dressing room celebrations – we hear from the players and coach about the momentous victory.

Luke Thompson reflects on a titanic individual stint that earned him the Harry Sunderland trophy, Theo Fages hails Saints’ formidable pack and James Roby describes why the class of 2019 is the greatest Saints side he’s played in.

St Helens Star:

The cover of this week's souvenir supplement

There are the wonderful images of Justin Holbrook – pictures that he will no doubt cherish for the rest of his career – raising the Super League trophy in front of the Stretford End and proudly marching out at the Theatre of Dreams for his final game as Saints boss, with three of his boys beside him.

We also have plenty more interviews and a double-page Champions poster in the centre pages.

In total, there are 26 pages of Grand Final coverage in the newspaper.

Enjoy Saints fans. It was brilliant.
