Sharon Rooney appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Monday
A WOMAN has been charged in connection with a number of purse thefts and fraudulent transactions.
Sharon Rooney, of Jubilee Crescent, Haydock was arrested in the St Helens area at around 8.50am on Saturday,October 5.
The 48-year-old was charged with nine counts of thefts from a person and 29 counts of fraud by false representation.
The charges relate to incidents that occurred in Warrington and Widnes between Tuesday, August 28, 2018 and Friday, September 27, 2019.

Rooney appeared at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October, 7.
She has been released on conditional bail and is set to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 4 November.
