Officers say they have received reports of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in the area of Birch Close, Whiston.
Police say they have offered advice to residents on how to report issues and are asking people affected by anti-social behaviour to get in touch.
On Tuesday evening, police say they recovered a mountain bike in the area and reported that youths smoking cannabis had left it in the area and made off when officers tried to speak with them.
