FOUR men ran from a car crash after being pursued through the streets by police.
Police chased a car found to have false plates through Halliwell this evening.
The Vauxhall Insignia crashed in Beta Street and four men ran from the scene. Police managed to catch one of the man, who has now been detained, but enquiries are still ongoing.
The car was seized immediately after the crash.
GMP Traffic tweeted: "#ME14 just pursued this Vauxhall Insignia in Halliwell, Bolton. Found to be on false plates, it crashed on Beta Street where 4 males made off. One has been detained and enqs ongoing. Vehicle seized."
