A THIEF who stole two bottles of alcohol from Morrison’s and assaulted a woman on September 10 has been sentenced to a conditional discharge for 12 months by magistrates.
Sean Halpin, aged 23, of Ainsworth Lane, Tonge Moor, pleaded guilty to committing the offences and was ordered to pay £156 in compensation, costs and charges.
