A DRIVER was injured after a car crashed into two parked cars on Prescot Road, yesterday, Sunday, September 29.

Police were called around 11.50am to reports that a silver Vauxhall Vectra crashed into a parked black Landrover Discovery and a parked black Volvo V40 on Prescot Road at the junction with Hill School Road.
The collision led to the road being blocked off until just before 1pm.
One man suffered a "slight injury", said a police spokesman.
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance attended the scene adding: "one person was taken to hospital for their injuries."
