College Street during one of the summer floods
ST HELENS Council has warned motorists of flooding on roads due to the wet weather.
Heavy showers have fallen on the town since yesterday and are set to continue through the weekend, with a Met Office yellow warning in place.
A flooding hotspot on College Street, at the stretch by Gerards Park Industrial Estate, has been closed since Friday evening due to flooding.
The area was flooded three times over the summer.
The businesses nearby are open as usual.
Meanwhile, Washway Lane is flooded at the roundabout close to BOC gas.
