HAVING walked my dog around Sherdley Park where Reminisce festival was held, I was horrified to see the actual state of the area.
The areas were absolutely covered in thousands of plastic and metal bottle tops, plastic packets and gas tubes.
I even found and removed a three foot metal spike.
The area is now just being rolled and the rubbish will just be pressed into the ground, poisoning it.
I hope the council get paid by the organisers to put this right as it is a big job.
I would pay a local farmer to completely plough the area, pick out the rubbish and then roll and seed it.
Action is needed now.
