TWO teenagers arrested yesterday on suspicion of the murder of 29-year-old stabbing victim Adam Ellison, have been released under investigation.

Former St Helens College student Adam was stabbed in the neck with an unknown weapon as he walked home in Prescot on Saturday, November 4 2017.

He was taken to hospital for surgery but died that morning.

Now, nearly two years since his death, three people have been arrested.

They are: Two 17-year-old youths from Huyton of suspicion of murder and a 22-year-old man from Huyton on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle in connection with the murder of Adam Ellison.

They were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, September 24 after police received fresh information.

Today, Wednesday, September 25, they have all been released under investigation.
