I WAS appalled the other day while walking through St Helens town centre to see a young mum blow cigarette smoke directly into her baby’s face.
I saw the mum come out of a business with a pram.
Then she lit the cigarette and actually blew the smoke into the pram holding her baby.
The baby was giggling and trying to ‘grab at’ the smoke. I just could not believe it.
With so much out there alerting people to the dangers of smoking, particularly around children and the dangers of passive smoking, I cannot believe that any mother would think that’s acceptable.
There is smoking around children, then blowing the smoke in their face.
Am I the only one horrified at this?
