St Helens teenager arrested after knife seized from abandoned car
A TEENAGER from St Helens was arrested after a knife was found inside an abandoned car.
Police say a driver abandoned a car on the driveway of a property on Beck Close in Kirkby on Thursday.
Officers recovered a knife inside the vehicle, which was seized by police.
Police searching the area found a suspect nearby and the 18-year-old from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
The house where the car was abandoned was not connected with the incident.
