BEER enthusiasts will be descending to Bolton next month as the ever-popular Bolton Beer Festival returns for its 26th year in aid of Bolton Lads & Girls Club.
Running from Thursday, October 10 to – Saturday, October 12, the festival will be held at the University of Bolton Stadium again.
With tasters from the UK and around the world on offer, organisers have promised this year will be the best yet. The the festival will have more than 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, Gin, Wine and Prosecco.
With all funds being directly donated to Bolton Lads & Girls Club, the day has become a must-go diary entry for many and attracts more than 7,000 visitors each year. The event also includes live music and performances.
Organisers are advising people to book early at beer-festival.co.uk.
Many local businesses are sponsoring displays at the event and organisers say there is a variety of packages available for those wishing to sponsor. Companies are being advised to act fast to ensure they are part of a memorable week. Sponsorship is available to buy on the website.
Kelly McFadden, head of fundraising at Bolton Lads & Girls Club, said: “The Beer Festival is getting bigger and bigger every year. It is the biggest social event in the Bolton calendar. All the money raised will go back into the core services at the club. We are grateful to everyone for the continual support we receive every year.”
