AN Indian restaurant is enjoying another year of success after being recognised in an awards ceremony.
Holdi Rainford on Ormskirk Road was recently presented with the Highly Commended Award for Most Wanted Restaurant in the North West and UK at the English Curry Awards.
The Ormskirk Road restaurant won the Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year accolade at the ceremony last year too.
Manager Abdul Kalam: "The team have worked extremely hard and their passion and dedication is being rewarded.
"This is the second year running we have been at the English Curry Awards, which follows the recognition we received at this year's Asian Restaurant Awards.

The restaurant regularly hosts sportsman's lunches.
The next event will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 1pm when Everton legend Peter Reid will be the star guest along with the FA Cup, which he won with the Toffees in 1984.
Tickets are priced at £30 which includes a banquet lunch.
