Girl, 11, suffered 'minor head injuries' after being hit by car
AN 11-year-old girl taken to hospital with a head injury yesterday after being hit by a car suffered "minor injuries", according to police.
Warrington Road in Rainhill was shut both ways until 4.10pm last night following the incident involving the girl and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The girl was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene to assist with enquiries.
