MORE than 1,500 cyclists taking on the Deloitte Ride Across Britain will be stopping in St Helens on their way to John O' Groats today.
The challenge sees thousands of bikers take on the 980-mile route from Land’s End and is made up of nine stages over nine days and will see cyclists ride over 100 miles each day from the rugged coastline of Cornwall to the beauty of the Scottish Highlands and more.
Their fourth stop on the nine day route will be at Haydock Park Racecourse on Tuesday, September 10, between 4pm and 6pm.
The riders will then resume and take on stage five on Wednesday, September 11 cycling from Haydock to Carlisle.
Former Love Island star Laura Crane and her friend Sophie Grace Holmes (below) are also taking part.
