A 48-hour order will be enforced by police in Haydock this evening, Friday, after a spate of anti-social behaviour incidents.
Police have issued the order, which runs from 6pm today until 6pm on Sunday, after a number of incidents have taken place at King George V Playing Fields.
One serious incident that took place recently was the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in the park area of the Church Road playing fields, opposite Tesco, at around 9pm on Wednesday, August 21.
The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment for stab wounds to his back and shoulder.
