PLANS have been put forward to create apartments above a hardware store.
A planning application has been submitted for a single-storey rear extension and first floor rear extension to the building of Pinder & Sims at 156 to 158 Duke Street, St Helens.
The extensions would accommodate the conversion of part of the ground floor and first floor to create five apartments and part of the ground floor to create two office uses.
Plans are on consultation until Friday, September 20.
