TWO men broke into a post office in the early hours of yesterday morning, Thursday.
The culprits forced their way into the property on Warrington Road in Rainhill at around 3.30am while a third man waited outside on a motorbike.
After the shop alarm was set off by the intruders the two men left the shop and made off on the bike with the other man.
It is not thought anything was taken from the store.
They were described as all wearing tracksuits.
CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing.
