VANDALS have smashed the window of a van, say police.
In the early hours of this morning (Tuesday August 20), police received a report of the incident on Holt Lane, Rainhill.

There was no sign of any brick, or implement being used to inflict the damage. Nothing was stolen from the van, police say.
Officers received a report of the incident at around 4.45am.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We had a report of damage caused to the window of a Ford Transit van in Holt lane at 4.45am today.
"Nothing was stolen from inside the van."
