A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been charged in connection with the robberies of two business premises, police have said.
The alleged robberies took place at D&T Wines, on Standish Street, St Helens on Saturday last week (August 10) and at Betfred betting shop on Bickerstaffe Street, St Helens on Tuesday (August 13).
Christopher Heffey, 35 of Charles Street, St Helens has been charged in connection with both incidents.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Saturday, August 17, say police.
