APPROVAL has been given to convert a former village police station into a residential property.
The former Rainford Police Station on Church Road, Rainford will be turned into a home after the council passed plans for a change of use.
The application stated that it is planned to incorporate both buildings at the site "into one by inclusion of an access door".
A new relocated community police station at Rainford Village Hall was launched in the autumn of 2018.
