VISITORS will be able to have a close look at Everton Football Club's stadium plans in St Helens today, Friday.

The club will be setting up its People's Project roadshow van at Church Square Shopping Centre between 9am and 5.30pm.

People will be able to take a virtual reality tour of the proposed stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool and view consultation material.

Blueprints for the club's community-led legacy of its current Goodison Park home will also be on display.

Supporters from all clubs are welcome to enter the van to show the plans for the project, which is predicted to generate a £1bn boost to the economy, create 15,000 jobs and lead to an extra 2.4m visitors to the region.

Visitors will be invited to give their thoughts on the proposals in a survey which will form part of the club's final submission for planning applications for Bramley-Moore Dock and Goodison Park.

The applications are set to be submitted by the end of the year.

This latest step marks the second stage of a formal process.

This began with a first stage public consultation last November.

More than 20,000 people took part in that phase, with the overwhelming majority backing the proposed move to Bramley-Moore Dock, part of Peel L and P’s Liverpool Waters site, and the community-led redevelopment of Goodison Park.

For anyone unable to attend any of the remaining roadshow events, the public consultation will stay open online until 11.59pm on Sunday, August 25.

To visit the page and fill in the survey go to www.peoples-project.co.uk/consultation.

The last roadshow van event takes place on Sunday in New Brighton.
