College Street, one of the main arteries in and out of St Helens town centre, has been a flooding hotspot.
Businesses in the area are still open.
Owner of Stone Tyres, John Stone, has said the issue has hit his business as each time warnings are issued about the flooding, people do not think his business is open and are being told to avoid the area.
In a post this morning, Stone Tyres said: "We are 100 per cent still open. This is the road at the bottom of college street just after Gerard Park Industrial Estate. Basically you can't get to us from Haresfinch."
