THE story of Prescot high street restaurant Pinion, from its crowdfunding start and its top chef, is set to be the subject of a Channel 4 documentary.
The hour long feature, which will air this Autumn, will follow chef Gary Usher and talk to him about why he set his sights on bringing top food to Prescot, a town centre long neglected but now transformed.
The self labelled Rebel chef, says that his cooking is for a new generation, adding: "amazing food for anyone and everyone - no frills attached."
He's achieved this and creating venues under the name Elite Bistros across the North West, by crowdfunding, with his latest efforts seeing him raise a record breaking £100,000 in less than 1 hour.
