Signage needs a simple: 'Businesses open as usual'
REGARDING the College Street floods, the situation is ridiculous.
It is known that when it rains heavily over a short period of time, it floods – so when heavy prolonged rain is predicted boots on the ground need to be doing something prior to the event, pumping, dredging, clearing, diverting and so on.
The signage needs a simple addition: ‘businesses open as usual’ or similar.
Business is tough anyway without additional obstacles being put in place.
