POLICE have arrested a man wanted on a warrant issued by magistrates after they stopped a van in Parr.

The vehicle was stopped by officers around the Chancery Lane and Simms Avenue area of Parr on Tuesday night.
Police allege the vehicle was being used without motor insurance and say the man driver was wanted for a no bail warrant issued by the magistrates courts.
The vehicle has been seized and the driver has since been taken to custody.
