A MAN armed with a crowbar was reportedly trying to break into homes, police have said.
Officers are appealing for information after receiving a report of a man trying to break into homes on Ennerdale Avenue, Clinkham Wood on Monday night (August 5).

A man, described a sin his 20s, who was "holding a crowbar" was said to be seen acting suspiciously near to people's properties.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We were called just after 10.30pm to a report that a man holding a crow bar was seen acting suspiciously near a front door, and later a back garden, in Ennerdale Drive.
"He was described as white, aged in his mid-20s, around 5ft 7in tall, of medium build and with long blonde or brown hair. He was wearing a black coat and beige/khaki shorts.
"Officers attended to search the area for the offender and witnesses were spoken to.
"The offender was not found and anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police."
