I AM absolutely appalled to find out that St Helens Council is paying £930 per day to a consultancy for a temporary assistant chief executive.
Our town centre is a disgrace compared to other local towns.
Services are stretched. Our roads are dire in places.
We constantly get told that there are no funds available, yet we can afford £930 per day.
I find this contemptible beyond belief.
