Wardleworths
REGARDING the closure of Wardleworth’s Book Shop on Westfield Street.
It’ll be a very big loss to the town centre when it closes.
Yes I would sometimes buy maps and books from there.
I remember when it first opened in 1978/79, when I bought an Ian Allan ABC book of combined loco and rolling stock for the first time. It’ll be well and truly missed.
