THE Beechams clock tower building was once the home and hub of many voluntary and community groups back in the early 2000s, until the college moved them out to create the business centre.
This sale is not St Helens Council’s fault (as has been written by some people on social media).
This is purely down to poor financial and future planning from the college.
It is such a fantastic building let’s hope the developers see and honour its cultural and heritage value to our local community.
