SO the reward for all the environmental damage at Florida Farm Haydock is 250 jobs?

This whole borough is becoming one big building site.

The latest eyesore in the town is the building of more than a hundred dwellings on a small patch of land on Knowsley Road opposite the entrance to Rivington Road.

An area already drowning in traffic and parked cars, which is now about to have at least another 150 to contend with.

The council say they have no money but must have recouped an enormous revenue boost from the council tax from new houses all over the borough.

As a money maker they could easily make a further fortune by booking all the hundreds of illegally parked cars that litter the town. Start with the ones parked on the grass verge on Eccleston Street and take your pick of any area you like to find cars parked totally blocking the pavement by ignorant car owners.

They are too lazy to park on their driveway or somewhere more appropriate.

It will take a death to instigate action on this last point which is becoming an increasing irritation and danger to many decent people.
