WHILE travelling to town on the 38B bus from Rainford on Thursday, July 11 I had the misfortune of losing my wallet which contained a considerable amount of money, numerous credit cards and my bus pass.

Due to the fact that my name, address and telephone number are clearly visible inside the wallet I assumed that any finder would possibly contact me and be rewarded with a suitable reward for their honesty.

At the time of writing this has not happened. If the finder does not return my wallet and contents then I hope that he or she can live comfortably with their conscience.

However if the finder is in some financial difficulties and needs help then I can only hope that their “lucky find “ proves beneficial to them and that they spend the money wisely.
