Police have released images of men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

At around 10.05am on Sunday, two police officers responded to an altercation between two men close to the One Stop store on Stretford Road, Urmston.

“We will not tolerate violence against our officers and we would ask anyone who recognises the individuals pictured, or has any information, to contact police immediately.”
