TWO youths arrested after a teenager was allegedly struck with broken glass while in a park have been released under investigation.

A 15-year-old boy suffered a cut to his leg during the assault in Haresfinch Park at 9.35pm on Thursday, July 11, police told the Star.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to a cut to the leg.

Boys aged 16 and 13 were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent but have since been released under investigation.

This is the latest attack to have happened in a park during recent weeks.

A teenager was also knocked unconscious in Taylor Park following a sickening assault.

Police have vowed to tackle any disorder in parks.
