WHAT an inspirational couple Glenn and Becky Youens really are. They are keeping up the fight to help and change the law in Violet’s name so that other families hopefully get justice should they find themselves faced with the unimaginable.
In a town that seems to be always in the headlines for all the wrong reasons and gets so much negativity, it’s inspiring that we have people like Glenn, Becky, Marie McCourt, Dawn Jones and Linda Fox and their supportive families fighting to get tougher sentences for serious crimes in our town and across the country so that other families get the justice they deserve.
My heart goes out to them all.
It’s a position that no one should be in, but the justice system has severely let them down.
I hope that the justice system wakes up and realise that tougher sentences for more serious crimes are needed.
