A 13-YEAR-OLD girl who had gone missing while visiting Chester Zoo has been found safe and well, say police.
Kodie Yates, known to visit St Helens town centre, went missing after last been seen at around 6.50pm on Thursday, July 4 at Chester Zoo.
Police launched extensive enquiries to locate her.
She is known to frequent St Helens, in particular the town centre, Fingerpost, Victoria Park, Thirlmere Avenue and Billinge Avenue.
Officers issued an appeal on Friday to help trace her.
This morning, Merseyside Police confirmed she has been found.
A statement said: We're pleased to let you know that missing 13-year-old Kodie Yates has been found safe and well. Thank you for sharing our appeal."
