TOP bistro Pinion is partnering with its neighbour Spanish bar Urbano Chirinuito to bring a taste of the 80s to Prescot's high street for one night only.

The Eccleston Street venues will be working together playing on the industry term ‘86’, as a way to describe an item no longer being available on the menu, and hope to feed guests a large dose of nostalgia on Thursday, July 4 from 7pm.

The night will start with cava and canapes at Urbano Chiringuito followed by a three-course menu over the road at Pinion, featuring a selection of firm 80’s favourites, including a posh version of prawn cocktail, chicken kiev and arctic roll. Guests will then enjoy a Pina Colada to finish back at Urban Chiringuito.

Chef Owner, Gary Usher, said: “Everyone loves a bit of nostalgia don’t they? We’re really looking forward to bringing back 1986 to Prescot with our friends at Urbano Chiringuito. The dishes are absolute classics and we’ll be sure that the soundtrack on the night is too!”

Tickets for the dinner cost £40pp with three sittings at 7pm, 7.30pm and 8pm.
