PETE Waterman’s vintage Porsche is set to be auctioned off – and is expected to fetch up to £50,000.
The music producer, who lives in Daresbury and starred in the Hitman and Her show which made the Mr Smith’s nightclub legendary, will be flogging the classic sports car next month.
He and his fellow members of the iconic Stock Aitken and Waterman song-writing trio each purchased a Porsche 928 in 1989.
Waterman has been the vehicle’s only keeper since, and has racked up 23,000 miles on the clock.
His version has four new Continental sport contract tyres on magnesium wheels with factory spacers.
It has recent brake pads, cambelt and all belts, water pump, fuel oil and air filters – as well as an MOT till July 2020.
Auctioneers estimate that the car will sell for between £40,000 and £50,000 when it goes under the hammer at H&H Classics Auction in Buxton on Wednesday, July 24.
