A TAPAS venue which opened less than nine months ago is now under new ownership.
Launched by the owners of Brunos Rodizio on Rigby Street, the Rioja on Duke Street served a wide range of Spanish dishes and was split into a restaurant area and a lounge bar.
However, less than a year in and the owners have sold the business.
Announcing the news via their Facebook page, they said: "This is just a post to let you all know that as of the next week or so we will be CLOSED as we have sold the business and it will now be put under new ownership.
"We'd just like to thanks everyone for the support over the last year at Rioja and we will be forever grateful for the lovely people we got to meet along the way.
"Thanks again and goodbye to you all."
