HERE is a glimpse of a new adventure golf course which is about to launch in the borough.
The new 18-hole adventure golf course will open at the Clarke's Golf Centre on Mill Lane, Rainford.

The Star was given a sneak preview of the course, expected to open in around a couple of weeks.
The facility received planning permission last year and will add to the existing facilities at the location.

The course, which features many fun and challenging holes, will have features including rocks and logs to make each hold distinctive and interesting.
Chris Clarke, of Clarkes' Golf, said: "It is just to add to the facilities that we have got, we have the nine-hole course, the driving range, the shop and the cafe.
"I've got a lad and take him to them.
"We don't just want it to be for children, but for advanced golfers, society golfers and beginners. Everyone will come and hopefully enjoy playing it.
"It will take about an hour to get round to play it. It is quite big and we were debating whether to have nine or 18-holes."
