IN response to the letter about pavement parking in last week’s Star.
In some parts of the country the difficulty is acknowledged and a white line is drawn 6ft from the wall/fence on the pavement.
No parking is allowed within that 6ft but two wheels on the rest of the pavement are.
It would potentially leave space for prams, pedestrians and mobility scooters whilst not fully obstructing the road.
