PLANS have been drawn up to convert a vacant former cafe premises into a hot food takeaway.
Proposals, submitted by Susan Yip, seek to make use of the empty premises at 12-14 George Street, St Helens.

Plans include shop front alterations and an associated extraction fan and flue to the rear.

The application says the building has been "empty for many years" with its last use as a"cafe known as 'Simply Delicious' that served hot and cold food".
Plans add there would be two full-time employees at the proposed takeaway, with its opening hours expected to be 11am to 3pm from Mondays to Saturdays.
