A MAN in his 70s has been injured in a crash in Newton-le-Willows this morning. (Friday)
A two-vehicle collision took place on Vista Road at around 10.40am today.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
A police spokeswoman said: "A man in his 70s has been injured and ambulance are on scene.
"He was taken to hospital."
She said the man is believed to be one of the drivers involved in the collision.
A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance added: "We attended with an air ambulance, ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
"The patient, a man in his mid-70s has gone by road ambulance to hospital.
"His injuries are not major trauma but do look to be serious."
Motorists were advised of Vista Road being closed in both directions from Crow Lane West and Penny Lane following the collision.
