AN AIR ambulance was called to Taylor Park on Sunday evening to reports of an injured teenage girl.
Ambulance crews attended the park at around 6.40pm after receiving reports that a girl had come off her bike.

A helicopter was seen landing at the field of the park.

The girl, aged 14, was taken to hospital by road.
A spokeswoman for North West Ambulance said: "We were called at 6.40pm and we sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and an air ambulance to the scene.
"We have taken a 14-year-old female to hospital. She had come off her bike."
