THE developer behind a series of regeneration schemes in St Helens has announced plans to open a second town centre office.

Luxor Group will create the office space in Nicholson House on Barrow Street as it gears up for further expansion.

The developer is currently undertaking its third project in St Helens, Nicholson Plaza, which will boast a 28 apartments above a retail parade, which includes The Dean restaurant.

Above the apartments will be a private rooftop terrace for residents.

Luxor chief executive Paul Nicholson said: “As we are undertaking a great deal of development and managing a lot of tenants in the town centre, with further plans to announce, it was the natural progression for us to open a second office located in St Helens.

"I have reviewed the level of service we were providing to our tenants and I believe with this concierge facility we can offer a much more efficient and effective service to our residents.

"We have plans that, if they come to fruition, will take us to over 100 rental units in the town centre.

"It’s vitally important to me, personally, and to my business that we provide our clients with the best possible service, we can’t just rely on developing quality apartments, we must provide a quality service.

"As our portfolio expands so must our team and our skill base."

The landlord and developer is expected to recruit new employees as part of the expansion plans. It also has plans to create an academy to help aspiring property developers – at low cost – to build the knowledge they need to see their projects through to completion.
