PUPILS and staff took on a trek up to White Nancy in the Peak District last week to raise funds for local charities Isabella-Rose Foundation and Violet-Grace's Gift.
Organised by the student council, the tuition service's pupils and staff took on either a five-mile or 1.5 mile route to raise money for the charities close to the borough's hearts.
Teacher Rob Vaughan, said: “Our students have wanted to take part in a healthy activity that could support a charity for a while – and seeing as though several members of staff already support Isabella Rose and Violet-Grace's Gift, this was the perfect cause for us to raise awareness of.
"The day itself was fantastic and I’m extremely proud of the members of our student council for putting it together, taking into consideration peers who can’t walk a long way by planning two different routes up to White Nancy so that it could be a full-team effort.”
