A NEW barber shop run by experienced hairdresser Claire Shorrock, who has styled sporting stars and locals alike, has opened in Mobberley.

Claire took over the premises operated by Chris the Barber, who worked for 30 years in the salon space at the back of the now-refurbished ADT Hair Studio on Town Lane in Mobberley.

CS Barbers offers a range of services for boys and men, with special deals for pensioners, existing clients and father and son bookings.

Claire has been cutting men's hair for more than 25 years in Knutsford, with former clients including football stars Bobby Charlton, Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, Olympic gold medallist Chris Hoy and former Coronation Street actor Lee Boardman.

Claire said: "I'm excited to open my new barbers - it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, having worked many years for other salons.

“I’m honoured to take over from Chris, and look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to my new space.”

CS Barbers is open from Tuesday to Saturday, with late finishes on Thursday and Friday.
