RESIDENTS in two areas of the borough have been hit by a power cut on Easter Monday.
Homes in Moss Bank and Dentons Green have lost power due to a network fault, SP Energy Networks said.
Engineers will attempt to repair the problem.
A statement by SP Energy Networks read: "There is an unplanned power cut in the WA10 and WA11 area of St Helens.
"This has been caused by a fault on our network and is affecting properties in Dentons Green Lane, Moss Bank Road, Windleshaw Road and surrounding areas.
"Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely and we will also send our next available engineer to investigate and repair the fault.
"We expect power to be back on by 1.45pm and will make every effort to contact you if the situation changes.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
