A WOODEN single storey building in the former Pet's Corner has been set on fire in Sherdley Park.
Two engines were sent to the scene on Marshalls Cross Road at 2.05pm to put out the flames of the structure which is 10m by 10m.
The fire has now been extinguished after firefighters used two hose reel jets.
They are now damping down the area.
Police and park rangers are also in attendance.
Eye witness, Deborah Lomas, said: "I saw plumes of smoke and it looks like something in the pets corner or something has been set on fire and the flames went up quite high.
"It's under control now though once the fire brigade got here."
