A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a collision last Thursday afternoon (April 11).
An air ambulance was called after a motorcyclist was injured after coming off his bike.
The incident happened at around 4pm on Ashton Road, near to Windy Arbour Farm, Billinge.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s was taken to hospital by air ambulance with an arm injury, a spokeswoman said.
The North West Ambulance spokeswoman added: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a motorbike.
"We treated a man in his 20s with injuries to his arm. We took him to hospital by air ambulance."
